About KAS : Since people are very knowledgeable about how UPSC conducts the civil service exam, KAS is conducted in the state of Kerala on the same line but led by the Kerala Public Service Commission. It entered into force in January 2018. It is a very prestigious and dynamic examination of India.
Once the exam has been passed, together with the interview, the candidate will be entitled to a class 1 service post. The selected candidates will be sent or eligible to be sent to the second official (Junior Time Scale), in various departments such as the public administration and the financial department of the government of Kerala.
Usually, the Kerala Public Service Commission conducts the KAS exam once a year, but in certain situations, taking into account the current scenario and the vacancies available, it can also conduct the KAS exam once every two years.
